சிரித்தான் சங்க சூடன் துளசி கூறியவற்றுக்கு;
“சரி தான் நீ கூறியவற்றில் சில உண்மைகளே!
பெண்ணைப் படைத்துள்ளான் பிரம்ம தேவன்
மண்ணுலகம் போற்றவும், தூற்றவும் ஏற்றபடி.
பஞ்சப் பிரகிருதிகளின் அம்சத்தில் பிரமன்
கொஞ்சம் பெண்களைப் படைத்துள்ளான்!
துர்கா, லக்ஷ்மி, சரஸ்வதி, சாவித்திரி, ராதிகா,
சர்வ மங்களம் தரும் தூய பெண்களின் வடிவம்.
பிற தேவிகளும் தெய்வத் தன்மை வாய்ந்தவர்கள்;
சிறப்புப் பெறுகின்றனர் இவர்களின் அம்சங்களால்.
சத்துவ குணப் பெண்கள் உத்தம வர்க்கத்தினர்;
மற்ற பெண்கள் இருவகைப் படுவர் குணத்தால்.
கூடிக் களிக்கும் போகத்தில் ஆசை கொண்டவர்;
ஆடி ஓடும் ரஜோ குணத்தவர், மத்திம வகையினர்.
வசப்படுத்திக் கொள்வர் ஆடவரை மதி மயக்கி;
இசையச் செய்வர் அவரைத் தம் விருப்பத்துக்கு!
கண்ணாக இருப்பர் தம் காரியத்திலேயே – இவர்
மண்ணாக்கி விடுவர் தர்மம், சட்டம், நியாயத்தை!
தமோ குணம் கொண்ட பெண்களோ எனில்
தலை வணங்க மாட்டார்கள் எவருக்குமே!
அதம ஸ்திரீகள் ஆவர் இவர்கள் – கேவலம்
அடிமட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர் பெண்ணினத்தில்!
படித்த அறிஞனும், பண்புள்ள நல்லவனும்
பரஸ்த்ரீயிடம் கேட்கக் கூடாது யார் என்று!
ஜலம் இல்லாத இடத்திலும், ரகசியத்திலும்,
ஜனம் இல்லாத இடத்திலும் கேட்கக் கூடாது!
வந்துள்ளேன் உன்னைக் கந்தர்வ மணம் புரிந்திட;
வந்துள்ளேன் பிரமன் நமக்குத் தந்த வரத்தின்படி!”
உரைத்தான் தனது பூர்வ ஜன்ம நினைவுகளை;
உரைத்தான் அவள் பூர்வ ஜன்ம நினைவுகளை!
“அச்சம் வேண்டாம் ராதையை நினைத்து – நாம்
மிச்சம் உள்ள வாழ்வை இன்பமாக வாழ்வோம்!”

9#18c. Sankha Choodan (2)
Sankha Choodan laughed aloud after hearing Tulasee speak thus. “Yes! some of what you have just said is correct! Brahma created women worthy of being praised as well of being criticized.
He has created some superior women in the image of the Pancha Prakritis namely DurgA, Lakshmi, Saraswati, SAvitri and RAdikA.
They are the personification of all the good qualities and all auspiciousness. Many other Devis are also great since they are created in the amsams of these five Devis. They are the uththama sthrees in the creation.
The ordinary women are of two types depending upon their RAjasic and TAmasic temperaments. The RAjasic women love all the pleasures and comforts in life. They enjoy marital bliss and are actively running around getting their other desires also fulfilled.
They belong to the madhyama varggam. They infatuate and entice men and possess them completely. They can control the thoughts and actions of the men who have literally become their slaves. They never lose sight of their goals and other aims in life. They do not care for justice or dharma or even established laws.
The adhama sthrees are those created out of Tamo gunam. They are unlawful, noisy, disobedient and do not really care for anything or anyone.
A man is not supposed to ask a woman who is a total stranger, “Who are you?” A learned man will not do it. A cultured man will not do it. Any man should not ask this question in any place devoid of people, devoid of water or in secrecy.
I have come here to wed you in Ghandharva vivAham. I have come here to fulfill the boons given to us by Brahma.”
He then related in great detail his poorva janma and her poorva janma also. He told Tulasee,”No need to be afraid of RAdhikA any more. Let us live happily and enjoy the bliss of togetherness, without wasting any more time.”
