9#43c. ஸ்வாஹா தேவி (3)

அவிர்தானம் செய்தனர் மூன்று வர்ணத்தவர்;
அழகிய ஸ்வாஹா என்னும் மந்திரங்களால்!

அடைந்தனர் தேவர்கள் ஹவிர் பாகங்களை;
அடைந்தனர் சித்திகள் யாகம் செய்தவர்கள்.

இணையாகும் ஸ்வாஹா இல்லாத ஒரு மந்திரம்
தினை அளவும் வேதம் அறியாத அந்தணனுக்கு;

நஞ்சு இல்லாத ஒரு சர்ப்பத்துக்கு – பதிக்குக்
கொஞ்சமும் சேவை செய்யாத பெண்மணிக்கு;

வித்தை எதுவும் இல்லாத மனிதனுக்கு;
விரும்பும் கனிகள் இல்லாத கிளைக்கு;

ஹோம பலன் கிடைக்காது செய்பவருக்கு;
அவிர்பாகமும் கிடைக்காது தேவர்களுக்கு.

பூஜிக்க வேண்டும் ஸ்வாஹா தேவியை
பூர்வம் யக்ஞ, ஹோமம் தொடங்குமுன்!

அங்கம் ஆவாள் ஸ்வாஹா மந்திரங்களுக்கு;
எங்கும் பலன் தருவாள் செய்த கர்மங்களுக்கு.

தியானிக்க வேண்டும் மூல மந்திரத்தால் தேவியை;
அபிமானிக்க வேண்டும் உபசாரங்களால் தேவியை.

இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் சித்திகள் பெறுவான்
இந்தப் பதினாறு நாமங்களால் போற்றிப் புகழ்பவன்

“ஸ்வாஹா, வஹ்னி ப்ரியா, வஹ்னி ஜாயா,
சந்தோஷ காரிணீ, சக்தி, கிரியா, காலதாத்ரி,

பரிபாக்கரி, த்ருவா, நராணாம் சதா கதி,
தாஹிகா, தஹனக்ஷமா, சம்சார சார ரூபா,

கோர சம்சார தாரிணீ, தேவ ஜீவன ரூபா,
தேவ போஷன காரிணீ ” என்ற நாமங்களால்

உலகம் உய்ய வேண்டும்! விசாலம். K. ராமன்

9#43c. SwAhA Devi (3)

The three varnAs performed YAgam and offered havisu uttering the mantra with the name of SwAhA Devi! The Gods and Devas got their share of the havisu and the performers of the yAgam got all their desires fulfilled.

The mantrA without SwahA is like a Brahmin without the knowledge of the VedAs; or a serpent without poison; or a patni who does not do pati-seva; or a man who does not have any talent or training; or a branch which does not not bear fruits.

The kartA of the yAgam will not get his desires fulfilled nor will the Deva get their share of havisu. One must worship SwAhA Devi before the commencement of the yAgam. She betows the fruits of the Yagam.

One must worship her uttering her Moola mantra and doing the various honors. One who praises her uttering these sixteen names will obtain sidhdhi in this world as well as the next!

“You are the SwAhA Devi! You are Vahni PriyA (the Beloved of Agni). You are the Vahni JAyA (the wife of Agni). You are SantOsha KAriNi (you please everyone).

You are Shakti (Energy). You are Kriya (Action). You are the bestower of KAla (The Time). You are ParipAkkari (you help in digesting the food);

You are the DhruvA; You are NarANAm sathA gathi (the eternal resort to all men); You are DAhikA (the burning power); You are Dahana kshamA (You can burn everything),

You are SamsAra SAra Roopa (the essence of this world); You are Gora SamsAra TAriNi (the deliverer from the terrible world); You are the Deva Jeevana roopa (life of all the gods) and You are the Deva PoshaNa kAriNi (you are the nourisher of all the Gods.”

He who reads with devotion these sixteen names, gets success both in this world and the next. All his efforts will be successful. He who wants a wife will marry a beautiful girl and live with her in bliss.
