1. தாமிஸ்ரம்
பிறர் பொருளைக் கொள்ளைஅடித்தவர்களையும்;
பிறன் மனைவி, சிசுவை அபகரித்தவர்களையும்;
மிரட்டி அடித்துத் தள்ளுவர் தாமிஸ்ர நரகத்தில்;
காலதூதர் காலபாசத்தினால் கட்டி இழுத்து வந்து!
2. அந்ததாமிஸ்ரம்
கணவனை வஞ்சித்த மனைவி அடையும் நரகம்;
மனைவியை வஞ்சித்த கணவன் அடையும் நரகம்;
கண்களை இழந்து வேதனை தாளாமல் – உடல்
புண்ணாகி வாடி வதங்கும் நரகம் அந்ததாமிஸ்ரம்!
3. ரௌரவம்
தனக்கு உரிமை இல்லாத பொன் பொருளைத்
தன் சாமர்த்தியத்தினாலும் செல்வாக்கினாலும்
தன்னுடையது என்று அபகரித்துக் கொள்பவர்;
தன் குடும்பத்தை நன்கு பேணிக் காப்பதற்காக
பிறர் குடும்பத்தை சீரழிப்பவர்களின் நரகம் இது!
மரண காலத்தில் பெரிதும் துன்புறுவர் இவர்கள்.
தருவார்கள் தண்டனை ஏமாற்றப் பட்டவர்கள்
ருரு என்னும் கொடிய விஷ மிருக வடிவத்தில்.
4. மஹா ரௌரவம்
ருரு துன்புறுத்திக் கொண்டே இருக்கும் பாவிகளை!
ஒருவேளை தப்பிவிடாமல் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு நிற்கும்!
5. கும்பீபாகம்
பிற உயிர்களைக் கொன்று தின்பவரின் நரகம் இது
வறுப்பார்கள் கிங்கரர்கள் அவர்களை எண்ணையில்
தின்ற பசுக்களின் உடலில் இருந்த ரோமங்கள் போல்
அத்தனை ஆண்டு காலம் சமைக்கப்படுவார்கள் இங்கே!
6. காலசூத்திரம்
மாதா, பிதா, வேதியரை ஆதரிக்காதவன் அடையும் நரகம்;
மாதா, பிதா, வேதியரைத் துரத்தி விடுபவனின் நரகம் இது.
உலகம் உய்ய வேண்டும்! விசாலம். K . ராமன்
8#21a. HELLS ( 1 TO 6)
1. TAmisra Hell
He who steals another man’s sons, wives, and riches, is taken to Yama by His messengers. He is tied down by the terrible messengers of Yama, using the KAla Sootra or the Rope Of Time! He is taken to the TAmisra hell, the place of many torments and punishments. Yama’s attendants beat him and threaten him until he becomes stupefied, weak, distressed and faints!
2. Andha TAmisra Hell
He who deceives another man and enjoys his wives is dragged down to Andha TAmisra hell. There he is subjected to pain and suffering. He loses his eyesight and becomes blind. His state resembles that of a tree when its trunk is broken. For this reason it is called as Andha TAmisra.
3. Raurava Hell
He who claims everything to be “My” and “Mine” and quarrels with others; he who maintains his own family, at the expense of another goes Raurava hell. The animals which he had injured and killed in this world, assume the form of the animal Ruru and torment him in the
Raurava Hell.
4. MahA Raurava Hell
Ruru is more cruel and ferocious than poisonous snakes. These animals living in that hell, surround the sinner making sure that he can not escape. Hence it is named as MahA Raurava Hell. He who torments others, goes to this hell and these Rurus, the flesh-eaters, spring on his body and bite and eat his flesh.
5. KumbheepAka Hell
He who cooks and eats animals and birds, is fried in hot oil in the KumbheepAka Hell by the Yama Dootas for one thousand years.
6. KAla Sootra Hell
He who quarrels with his Pitris and the BrAhmaNas, is taken by the Yama Dootas to the KAlasootra Hell to be burnt by the fire and Sun. The sinner is troubled by hunger and thirst and spends his time in sitting, walking and running here and there helplessly.
