“தருவாய் புத்திர, பௌத்திரர்களை நீ!
தருவாய் பொன், பொருள், செல்வத்தை!
தருவாய் புகழ், ஞானம், நற்குணங்களை.
தருவாய் மேன்மை, தன்மை, நன்மைகளை.
இருப்பார் வறியவராக உன்னை நிந்திப்பவர்;
இருப்பார் அஞ்சியவராக உன்னை நிந்திப்பவர்.
படைத்தனர் உன்னை ஜரத்காரு முனிவருக்காக;
படைத்தனர் லக்ஷ்மி விஷ்ணுவுக்கு என்பது போல்.
மனஸா தேவியானாய் சக்தியின் அம்சத்தால்;
மனஸா தேவியானாய் எங்களைக் காப்பதற்கு.
திகழ்கின்றாய் தேவீ நீ ஒரு சித்த யோகினியாக;
திகழ்கின்றாய் அனைவரும் போற்றும் வண்ணம்.
உண்மை வடிவானவள் நீ என்று துதிப்பவர்கள்
உண்மையில் வந்தடைவர் உன்னிடமே தேவீ!”
போற்றினான் இந்திரன் தேவியை இத் துதிகளால்;
ஊற்றினான் சிறந்த பாலை தேவிக்கு அபிஷேகமாக.
உபதேசித்தாள் தேவி அபூர்வ ஞானத்தை – இதை
உச்சரிப்பவனுக்கு இல்லை இனிமேல் விஷ பயம்.
அமுதம் ஆக்கும் கொடிய நஞ்சையும் இந்த மந்திரம்
அளிக்கும் சித்தியை ஐந்து லக்ஷம் முறை ஜெபித்தால்.
உலகம் உய்ய வேண்டும்! விசாலம். K. ராமன்
Those who worship you get good sons and grandsons. Their wealth and the grains in their granary increase. They themselves become more famous, more learned and more renowned. Anyone who does not worship you due to his ignorance, will remain poor for ever and always live in constant fear.
JaratkAru was born as an amsam of Lord NArAyaNan. Kasyapa has created you out of his own power of penance and tejas only to preserve us. You are his mental creation and hence your name is ManasA Devi.
You yourself have become a Siddha Yogini in this world by virtue of your mental power. You are widely known as ManasA Devi and worshipped by all. You are of the nature of Truth. He certainly reaches you – who always thinks of you as of the nature of truth.”
Indra praised his sister ManasA Devi and received from her the desired boons. Then Indra went back to his own abode.
