9#50f. துர்க்கா தேவி (3)

“மணி, சூலம், கலப்பை, சங்கு;
உலக்கை, சக்கரம், தனுசு, பாணம்;

கரங்களில் தாங்கி சும்பாசுரனை அழித்தொழித்த
சச்சிதானந்த ஸ்வரூபிணி, வாணீ, பீஜ ரூபிணி

சரஸ்வதியை தியானிக்கின்றேன்!” என்று கூறி
சரஸ்வதி தேவியைத் தியானிக்க வேண்டும்.

ஸப்தஸதீ ஸ்தோத்திரத்துக்குச் சமமானது
சத்தியமாக வேறு இல்லை மூவுலகிலும்!

மகிழ்ச்சியடைவதில்லை வேறு துதியால் தேவி
மகிழ்ச்சி அடைவதைப் போல இந்தத் துதியால்.

அடைவர் அறம், பொருள், இன்பம், வீடு;
இடைவிடாது தேவியைத் துதிக்கும் அன்பர்.

தேவரும், மூவரும் துதிக்கின்றனர் துர்க்கையை;
தேவியர் குழுமித் துதிக்கின்றனர் துர்க்கையை;

ஞானியர், யோகியர் துதிக்கின்றனர் துர்க்கையை;
முனிவர், மனிதர்கள் துதிக்கின்றனர் துர்க்கையை!

பிறவிப் பயனைத் தருபவள் அன்னை துர்க்கை;
பிறவிப் பயன் ஆகும் துர்க்கையின் ஸ்மரணை!

பலன்கள் அடைந்தனர் தேவியைத் துதித்து
பதினான்கு மனுக்களும், பிற தேவர்களும்.

9#50c. DurgA Devi (3)

Saraswati is meditated upon as holding a bell, a pickaxe, a plough (Hala), a Conch shell, a Mushala (a club), Sudarsana chakram, a bow and arrows.

She is the one who destroyed Sumbasura. She is the Sath-Chit-Aananda swaroopiNi. She is the VANi Beeja RoopiNi. (the source of knowledge and speech)

There is no other stuti which can please Devi as much as Sapta Sathee. Those who worship chanting this stuti will attain Dharma, Artha, KAma and Moksha.

The Devas and the Trinity worship Devi. All the amsams of Devi worship her. The JnAnis, Yogis, Rushis and men worship Devi.

DurgA Devi will confer success on the purpose of one’s life. It is nothing but remembering Devi all the time. The fourteen Manus as well as the Devas attained whatever they wished for by worshiping Devi.
