தேவி கங்கை
பிரகிருதியின் பிரதான அம்சம் ஆவாள்
பிரபஞ்சத்தைத் தூய்மையாக்கும் கங்கை.
பிறந்தாள் நீர் வடிவாக விஷ்ணுவிடம் இருந்து;
சிறந்தாள் பாவிகளின் பாவத்தைத் தொலைத்து.
தூய நதிகள் அனைத்திலும் தூயவள் கங்கை;
தூய ஸ்பரிச இன்பம் தர வல்லவள் கங்கை.
வழங்குகிறாள் மோக்ஷத்தை ஜீவர்களுக்கு;
விளங்குகிறாள் படிக்கட்டாக சுவர்க்கத்துக்கு!
பரமசிவனின் செறிந்து, அடர்ந்து, படர்ந்த
விரிசடையில் கங்கை ஒளிர்வாள் நித்திலமாக!
துளசி தேவி
ஒளிர்வாள் நிலவு, பால், வெண்டாமரை போல்
துளசி தேவி, நாராயணனின் பிரிய பதிவிரதை.
பிரகிருதியின் பிரதான அம்ச வடிவினள்.
பத்திர உருவில் விளங்கும் துளசி தேவி
திருமாலின் பிரியை, பூஷண ஸ்வரூபிணி;
திருமாலின் பாதங்களில் தங்குபவள் துளசி.
பூஜைகளுக்கு அத்தியாவசியம் ஆனவள் துளசி;
புண்ணியம் தருவாள் தன் ஸ்பரிச தரிசனத்தால்.
ஒழிப்பாள் பாவக் குவியலை அக்னியாக எரித்து;
அழிப்பாள் ஜீவர்களின் தீய வினைப் பயன்களை.
செய்த கர்மங்கள் வீணாகாமல் பாதுகாப்பாள்;
செய்த கர்ம பலன்களைத் தவறாமல் தருவாள்.
உலகம் உய்ய வேண்டும் ! விசாலம். K . ராமன்
9#1j. Ganga Devi
GangA has sprung from the lotus feet of VishNu. She is eternal. She is the fire burning away the sins of the sinners.
She purifies all those who with faith touch, take bath in or to drink her water. She gives final liberation to the JeevAs leading them easily to Goloka.
She is the holiest among all the holy rivers. She is the beautiful pearl shining on the thick matted hair of MahA Deva.
Ganges is a part of the Moola Prakruti. She purifies all the three worlds.
Tulasi Devi
She shines like the Full Moon, the white lotus and milk! She is pure S’uddha Satva completely free from AhankAra (Ego). She is chaste and the beloved wife of Lord NArAyaNa.
Tulasi Devi is the consort of VishNu and always dwells at his lotus feet. All forms of worship, all austerities, and a Sankalpa is useless unless Tulasi is used in it.
She is the chief of all the flowers. She is holy and gives puNyam to the others. But for Tulasi Devi, there could be no other fire in this Kali Yuga to burn down and destroy the sins of the sinners.
She Herself is of the nature of Fire and the earth is purified by her touch. Without Her all the good acts performed in this world become fruitless.
She bestows liberation to those who want final liberation. She grants all sorts of desires to all sorts of people. Tulasi is Presiding Deity of all the trees in India.
She is considered very superior and auspicious throughout India. Tulasi Devi is the chief factor of Moola Prakruti.
