9#30. தான, தர்ம பலன்கள்

“அன்னதானம் அடைவிக்கும் சிவலோகம்;
அன்னதானம் செய்யலாம் அனைவருமே!

பசு தானம் அடைவிக்கும் கோலோகம் – புது
சயன தானம் அடைவிக்கும் சந்திர லோகம்.

வெண்குடை தானம் தரும் வருண லோகம்;
வஸ்திர தானம் அடைவிக்கும் வாயு லோகம்.

சாளக்ராம தானம் அடைவிக்கும் வைகுந்தம்;
கஜ தானம் தரும் இந்திரனின் அர்த்தாசனம்!

பரி, பல்லக்கு தானம் தரும் வருண லோகம்;
நந்தவன தானம் அடைவிக்கும் வாயு லோகம்.

வெண்சாமர தானம் அடைவிக்கும் வாயுலோகம்;
தாமிரம், எள் தானம் அடைவிக்கும் சிவலோகம்.

கனிகளின் தானம் அடைவிக்கும் இந்திர லோகம்;
விளைநில தானம் அடைவிக்கும் வைகுண்டம்.

கிராம தானம் அடைவிக்கும் வைகுண்ட லோகம்;
கார்த்திகைத் துலாதானம் தரும் விஷ்ணு லோகம்.

கங்கையில் நீராடுவது தரும் விஷ்ணு லோகம்;
வைகாசியில் மாதானம் சேர்க்கும் சிவலோகம்.

சித்திரை மாத நிருத்தியம் தரும் சிவலோகம்;
கார்த்திகை ராஸமண்டல பூஜை கோலோகம்.

ஹரிநாம ஜபம் சேர்க்கும் விஷ்ணு லோகம்;
பார்த்திவ லிங்க பூஜை சேர்க்கும் சிவலோகம்;

சாளக்ராம பூஜை தரும் வைகுண்டம் – தரும்
நூறு பரி யாகம் இந்திரப்பதவி, விஷ்ணு பதம்.

கார்த்திகை பௌர்ணமி ராஸ மண்டல பூஜை
சுக்கில ஏகாதசி, கிருஷ்ண ஏகாதசி பூஜைகள்

பாத்ரபத சுக்ல பக்ஷ துவாதசி பூஜை;
சுக்ல பக்ஷ சப்தமியில் சூரிய பூஜை;

ஜேஷ்ட மாச கிருஷ்ண சதுர்த்தி சாவித்ரி பூஜை;
மாசி மாத சுக்கில பஞ்சமியில் சரஸ்வதி பூஜை.

9#30. The fruits of some sat karmas (Good Deeds)

“Anna DAnam will give us a spot in the Siva Lokam. It is the only DAnam everyone is qualified to perform and no one is prohibited from performing!

Giving away a cow will lead the person to Golokam; Giving a new bed will lead the person to Chandra Lokam; Giving a white Umbrella will lead the person to VaruNa Lokam and Giving new clothes will lead the person to VAyu Lokam.

Giving SAlagrAmas will lead the person to Vaikuntam; Giving away an elephant will give him half the throne of Indra himself. Presenting horses and palanquins will bestow a spot in Varuna Lokam; Giving away a flowering garden will bestow a spot in the VAyu Lokam.

Presenting ChAmara will find a person a spot in VAyu Lokam; Giving away copper vessels and sesame seeds will take a person to Siva lokam; Presenting fruits will find a spot in Indra Lokam; Presenting fertile lands will find a spot in Vaikuntam.

Presenting a village bestows a place in Vaikuntam; TulA Danam done in the month of Karthik gives VishNu padam. A holy dip in Ganges will take a person to VishNu Lokam; The nrithya done in the month of Chitra will give a spot in Siva Lokam.

RAsa MaNdala Pooja performed in month of Karthik will lead the person to Golokam; The chanting of the name of Hari will take a person to VishNu Lokam. PArthiva Linga pooja bestows on a person a spot in Siva lokam;

SAlagrAma pooja will lead the person to Vaikuntam. Performing one hundred Aswamedha Yagams gives the person the throne of Indra and also Vishnu padam. The other important poojAs yielding good merits are RAsa MaNdala Pooja on the full moon day of the month of Karthik; Sukla EkAdasi and Krishna EKAdasi pooja;
BAdrapada sukla paksha dwAdasi pooja; Jyeshta mAsa Krishna chathurthi SAvitri pooja, MAsi MAsa sukla panchami Saraswati pooja.
