திரிவர் மனிதர் தர்மநெறிகள் எதுவும் இன்றி;
அரிது லக்ஷத்தில் ஒருவன் நல்லவனாவது!
கெட்ட நடத்தை கொண்டிருப்பர் அனைவரும்;
கெட்ட உருவம் கொண்டிருப்பர் அனைவரும்.
நஷ்டமாகும் கிராமங்களும், நகரங்களும்;
நஷ்டமாகும் வீடுகளும், உயிரினங்களும்.
பயிர் செய்வர் ஏரிகளிலும், குளங்களிலும்;
உயர் குலத்தவர் தாழ்வடைந்து விடுவர்!
அதிகரிப்பர் தீயவர், சூதாடிகள், பொய்யர்;
அற்பர்கள் ஆகி விடுவர் செல்வந்தர்கள்.
நாஸ்திகனாக ஆகிவிடுவான் ஆஸ்திகன்;
நகரவாசி ஆகிவிடுவான் கொடியவனாக!
குள்ளமாக இருப்பர் ஆண்களும், பெண்களும்,
குன்றிவிடும் ஆயுள் ஆண்கள், பெண்களுக்கு.
ருது அடைவாள் பெண் எட்டு வயதிலேயே!
வரும் கிழத்தனம் வயது முதிரும் முன்பே!
கன்னிகளை விற்பர் நான்கு வர்ணத்தவரும்;
அன்னையாவது அரிதாகும் பெண்களுக்கு.
வீட்டுப் பெண்கள் ஈட்டி வரும் பொருளில்
நாட்டம் கொண்டு அலைவர் ஆண் மக்கள்.
விற்பனை ஆகும் விபச்சாரம் அமோகமாக!
விற்பனை ஆகும் இறைவனின் நாமம் கூட!
தானம் கொடுப்பர் பெயர் புகழ் பெற்றிட – பின்பு
தானத்தைப் பறிப்பர் கொடுத்தவரிடமிருந்தே!
ஆலயங்கள், அந்தணர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள்
அலமந்து நிற்பர் செல்வத்தைப் பறிகொடுத்து!

9#8C. Kali PrabhAvam (3)
The Four VarNAs will be devoid of justice and virtue. One person in one lakh persons may remain virtuous. Men, women, boys and girls will become ugly and deformed. They will utter foul words and make vile sounds.
Some villages and towns will be completely deserted by men and women. In some others a few cottages with a few inhabitants will be seen. Villages and towns will become jungles and jungles will become filled with men.
The river beds and lake bottoms will become dry owing to the failing of rains. Crops will be cultivated there also. The great families will become very low in status. The whole earth will be filled with liars, cheats and hypocrites.
The rich will become poor and those who were devoted to the Gods will become atheists. The towns folk will have no trace of mercy and will be filled with jealousy.
In the Kali age, males and females will be dwarfish stature, diseased, short lived and lack virility. Their hair will turn grey while they are very young. They will feel very old by the time they become twenty years of age.
The girls will attain puberty at eight years and become pregnant very early. They will deliver every year and become old by the time they are sixteen years of age. Some lucky women will have their husbands and children. Otherwise most of the women will be barren and childless.
The four VarNAs will sell their daughters. The paramours of the mothers, wives, son’s wives, daughters, and sisters will become the source of support to them. Persons will make gifts for name and fame and ultimately will take back what they had made as gifts.
The gifts given to the Gods, Brahmins and Teachers may be taken back leaving them helpless and very sad!
